Hudson Valley, NY WORKSHOP May 12, 2012 Since we moved to Albuquerque, this is the only one-day training in NY this year. Please sign up soon to reserve a place. The Spring 2011 workshops were a great success. The structures are looking good. See the whole photo album on Patti Stouter's facebook page Curious? Thinking about a personal project? Wondering about using earthbag for aid? Want to see an earthbag building, and try out some natural building techniques? Simple Earth Structures is a non-profit business that primarily volunteers help for aid buildings in many parts of the world. We want these classes to spread earthbag so aid builders who ask us to refer an experienced builder will have an easier time finding someone. If we can't get together, there are excellent workshops in Kentucky at HomeGrown Hideaways. Or learn by building a small project on your own. I highly recommend the new earthbag manual and training video by Owen Geiger. Check the natural building blog for availability.Cost: $80 per all day course If you're actively working on an aid project, tell me about it and ask for a scholarship. My goal is to cover my costs with paying learners and allow people directly involved in aid to disaster or poverty regions to learn for free or very low cost. Workshop location: 5 Eleanor Drive, Holmes, NY, 12531 ![]() Information needed for students: (Your spot in class is reserved when you pay. This form has not been working.
